Board
Sharon Allison
Sharon Allison joined the board in 1998. She is the former president of the board of International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region and member of the Governing Council of International Planned Parenthood Federation.
Andrew Arkutu
Dr. Arkutu worked for Pathfinder International from 2001 through August 2006 and joined the Pathfinder Board of Directors in November 2006.
Richard Berkowitz
Richard Berkowitz, one of Pathfinder's emeritus advisors, is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Director of the Residency Program and Quality Improvement in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Berkowitz joined Pathfinder International's board in 2003.
Cynthia Fields
Cynthia Fields, board Chair, is a retired direct marketing executive who has supported Planned Parenthood for many years. Cynthia Fields joined Pathfinder International's board in 1995.
Andrew Frey
Andrew Frey is a partner in the law firm of Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw, specializing in appellate and Supreme Court litigation. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 2003.
Walter Gamble
Walter Gamble is a retired pediatric cardiologist who was on the staff of Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, for 32 years. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 2004.
Jane Havemeyer
Jane Havemeyer is the board secretary. Her professional affiliations have included public relations and customer relations with major corporations; legislative aide, social issue lobbyist, and independent consultant on projects in publishing, the arts, education, and women's political initiatives.
Benjamin Kahrl
Benjamin Kahrl joined the board originally in 1998 and travels often to see Pathfinder’s work.
Edward Kaplan
Edward Kaplan , a graduate of Columbia College and Vanderbilt University Law School, joined Pathfinder International's board in 2004. Mr. Kaplan joined the law firm of Armstrong Allen, PLLC, in Memphis, Tennessee in 1965 and retired from the practice of law in 2006.
Rajen Kilachand
Rajen Kilachand is Chairman and President of Dodsal Group, a trans global multinational company with a diversified portfolio of businesses operating in several countries with a multicultural workforce. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 2004.
Elisabeth Lyon
Elisabeth Lyon works with nonprofits in strategic planning and policy development. She joined Pathfinder International's board in 1995 and again in 2005.
Florence Manguyu
Florence Manguyu is a consultant pediatrician in clinical practice in Nairobi, Kenya. She joined Pathfinder International's board in 1995.
Lucia Riddle
Lucia Riddle is Vice President Federal Government Relations with the Principal Financial Group and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare relations and public policy. She joined Pathfinder International's board in 2011.
James Schwartz
James Schwartz is one of Pathfinder's emeritus advisors and the President of Mast Global Fashions, a division of Limited Brands. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 2002.
Prakash Shah
Prakash Shah was the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq. Mr. Shah joined Pathfinder International's board in 1997.
Valerie Spencer
Valerie Spencer has 29 years of experience in philanthropy, primarily focused on issues relating to women, girls, and people with special needs. She joined Pathfinder International's board in 2010.
Ronda Stryker
Ronda Stryker's philanthropic interests are focused on the empowerment of women and support of non-traditional student enhancement programs at colleges and universities. She joined Pathfinder International's board in 2009.
John Swift
Since the early 1970s, Mr. Swift has been an advocate for women's right to choose and supporter of Planned Parenthood. He supports several family foundations. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 1999.
Ralph Tate
Ralph Tate, the board's finance chair, currently manages investment portfolios for high net worth individuals at Norwottuck View Investment Management, LLC. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 2009.
Alfred Tate
As chief of staff to the Honorable James A. Leach, Alfred Tate provided policy analysis and advice of increasing seniority on a wide range of domestic, economic, national security, and international issues. He joined Pathfinder International's board in 2005.
June Tatelman
June Tatleman has been involved in family planning and health education for many years, having been a counselor for Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts and Preterm of Massachusetts among others. She joined the Pathfinder board in 2008.
George Todd
Currently CEO and Chairman of Kalsec, George Todd’s passions outside of work are sustainability, education, and family planning. He joined the Pathfinder Board in 2010.
Manuel Urbina
Manuel Urbina, board vice chair, has a long and distinguished career in the health arena, having served in many prominent positions including Undersecretary of Health in Mexico. He joined the Pathfinder Board in 1998.
Roslyn Watson
Roslyn Watson is the President and Founder of Watson Ventures. She joined the board in 2009.

Caroline is Pathfinder's Senior Vice President. She has expertise in program development and management, and a long and significant career with more than 25 years of experience in international family planning.
Demet Güral
Pathfinder's Vice President of Technical and Program Strengthening, Demet Güral is a physician and a public health specialist with more than 25 years of experience in sexual and reproductive health programs and primary health care management.
Purnima Mane
Purnima Mane is Pathfinder's President and Chief Executive Officer. She oversees more than 1,000 staff around the world, an annual budget exceeding $100 million, and sexual and reproductive health programs in more than 20 developing countries.
Stephen Redding
Stephen Redding is Pathfinder’s Vice President of Country and Regional Operations. His expertise features work in project management and organizational development and his career has involved more than 30 years of multi-sectorial experience in running country programs and project support both domestically and abroad.
