Demet Güral
As Vice President of Technical and Program Strengthening, Demet oversees the implementation of Pathfinder strategies through her supervision of the Programs Systems, Technical Services, and Research & Metrics Units.
Early in her career, Demet served as a valuable member of Pathfinder. From 1996-1998, she served as the Chief of Party for Pathfinder’s award-winning Comprehensive Postpartum Project in Amman, Jordan. In the years prior, she served as Associate Director for Asia/Near East, Regional Medical Director, and Pathfinder’s Country Representative for Turkey.

Some Career Successes:
- Served as Executive Director of Willows Foundation, which has extensive reproductive health programs in Turkey and Ghana. There, she focused on integrating community-based services and finding innovative ways to reach out to underserved populations.
- Served as Executive Director for the Human Resource Development Foundation in Turkey, where she established a diversity program in sexual reproductive health and rights for vulnerable groups in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.
- Initiated the first NGO anti-human trafficking program in Turkey and raised more than $1.5 million to support the program.
