What's your favorite part about working at Pathfinder?
My favorite part about working at Pathfinder is that I get to work with people around the world who have so much to teach me. It is a joy to work at a place where I am learning every day.

What's one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I love to travel and see new parts of the world. I learned to fly planes when I was 16 so I would never be too far away from my next great adventure.

Do you have a personal connection to Pathfinder's work?
Anyone who has ever been an adolescent can have a strong personal connection to Pathfinder's work. Think back on those times - the embarrassment, the confusion, the joy, the drama, and the fun. My work in the Dominican Republic with adolescents and youth made me realize just how important (and fun) working with adolescents can be and I am lucky to be able to work for an organization that shares my vision for adolescents and youth to have the right to live a happy and healthy sexual and reproductive life.

Was there a moment when the importance of Pathfinder's work really hit home for you?
I distinctly remember a moment in a clinic in Ethiopia when a young woman came in and asked the provider for an implant. She explained that she needed to delay pregnancy so she could finish school. That young woman would not have had access to any method of contraception, let alone an implant, if it hadn't been for the effort of Pathfinder's dedicated staff who worked with providers day in and day out to ensure respectful and comprehensive care for young women
