Purnima Mane
Pathfinder International President & CEO

Purnima is a distinguished diplomat, leader, manager, academician, and social activist, as well as an internationally recognized expert on HIV, maternal health, behavior change, gender, and population. She has more than 30 years of leadership experience, the last 15 years of which have been in the United Nations system, including UNAIDS and WHO. Before joining Pathfinder, as Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director (Programme) of UNFPA, Purnima directed global policies and programs for the agency.

Suellen Miller
Professor at University of California, San Francisco

Dr. Miller is the Director of the Safe Motherhood Program at the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, and Professor, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and Professor at University of California, San Francisco. Professor Miller began the use of the NASG as a tool to decrease maternal mortality in developing countries in 2002. She is the principal investigator on multiple clinical trials of the Non-Pneumatic Anti-Shock Garment (NASG) at different levels of the health care system. She has published over 20 scientific peer-reviewed publications on all aspects of NASG use. She has recently completed writing, directing, and narrating a training video for Pathfinder International, "Saving Mother's Lives: Community and Clinical Action to Address Center-Partum Hemorrhage." She has over 30 years experience in international women’s reproductive health.

Ms. Batson’s more than 20-year career has proven her to be a leader in innovation, throughout positions with the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF.

Ms. Gilmore brings to UNFPA more than 20 years of strategic leadership experience, working on social issues in her government and in not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining UNFPA, she served as Executive Deputy Secretary General of Amnesty International.
