Revitalizing Public Health Clinics and Their Boards of Directors: The Takamol Model in Egypt
Takamol, a five-year USAID-funded integrated reproductive health project, has revitalized 179 primary healthcare clinics in 11 Egyptian governorates. Through facility improvements, training of clinic staff, and revitalizing clinic boards, Takamol has increased community confidence in and use of facility services.
