Alden Nouga has 17 years of experience in international health and development program fundraising and technical assistance. Over her 11 years with Pathfinder, she has written major grants as a subject matter expert. Currently serving as director of foundation and corporate partnerships, Alden manages relationships with over 40 active foundation and corporate partners and leads a team of grantwriters working to build impactful partnerships across Pathfinder’s technical areas and geographies.
When she served as Pathfinder’s senior technical advisor, her areas of expertise included integration of contraception with HIV and primary health care services, community home-based care, and targeted services for key populations, including young people. Before joining Pathfinder, Alden worked for CARE in Cameroon where she built a portfolio of programming in orphan and vulnerable children care and support, community home-based care, HIV prevention and community mobilization in sex worker and trucker communities, and civil society capacity building for health service delivery.
Alden has a certificate of public health leadership from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, an MPH from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, and a BA from the University of Chicago. She speaks English, professional French, and basic Bahasa Indonesia.
