Mustafa Kudrati is an international health and development professional with over 20 years of experience in managing integrated health programs and leading human rights policy and advocacy initiatives.
In his seven years as our country representative in Tanzania, Mustafa has managed a diverse reproductive health portfolio of more than $50 million dollars. Under his leadership, the Tanzania country office has developed and implemented national curricula on family planning, HIV, and gender-based violence, and supported the government’s national family planning, maternal and newborn health, and HIV programming through policy and advocacy work.
In October 2003, Mustafa joined our team as the institutional capacity building advisor, where he provided technical assistance to strengthen non-governmental organization, faith-based organization, and local government capacity in strategic planning, program supervision, operational management, financial oversight, sustainability initiatives, leadership development, and governance strengthening.
Prior to joining Pathfinder, he worked for several years as an organizational development consultant in Eastern and Southern Africa. Mustafa began his career as a co-founder and director of the Kuleana Center for Children’s Rights in Tanzania.
Mustafa holds an MC/MPA from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and a BA from Hamilton College. He speaks English, Gujerati, Hindi, Swahili, and Urdu.
