Inspirational Executive to Drive Innovative Fundraising and Communications Strategies
August 25, 2017—Suzanne Huang Rexing, a strategic leader in international business development with deep knowledge of the non-profit sector, will join Pathfinder as its chief global engagement officer (CGEO) on August 28, 2017. In this newly created role, Suzanne will lead a strategic and synchronized plan to raise visibility for Pathfinder’s critical mission and grow, unify, and diversify our funding portfolio. She will be based out of the Washington, DC office.
With a proven track record in cross-sector fundraising and strategic communications, Suzanne will further the vision for our work, clearly demonstrating organizational value and leveraging new sources of revenue. This key position will galvanize support for global reproductive rights and advance Pathfinder’s ability to lay the groundwork for transformational social change for generations to come. As CGEO, she will oversee the global units responsible for new business development, marketing and communications, and individual fundraising.
Suzanne’s 25-plus years of professional experience includes leadership positions at organizations including JHPIEGO, Pact, Inc., PATH, and Catholic Relief Services, where she most recently served as the Director of Innovation for Overseas Operations and formerly as the Vice President for Institutional Donor Engagement and Advancement.
Suzanne holds a BA in biochemistry from Smith College and an MPH in epidemiology from Yale University. She was the 2009 recipient of the PATH Vision Award for Mentorship, recognizing her as “one of PATH’s most innovative and impactful mentors.”
