Meera Sarathy has over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of public health and business to address health disparities around the world—particularly those that affect women and girls. Meera currently serves a Program Advisor to the Francophone portfolio, supporting programs in Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, and Togo. In 2018, Meera joined Pathfinder as Technical Advisor for Field Support on the Evidence to Action project, where she provided program management and technical assistance in family planning, community-based approaches, and systematic scale-up. Before joining Pathfinder, Meera worked at Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon, where she managed programs to prevent and control cervical cancer in Southern and Eastern Africa; the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, where she analyzed sustainable financing and economics of vaccine programs; Jhpiego, where she provided knowledge management and research support to the Accelovate project; and Population Services International, where she supported the West and Central Africa region. Meera first began her career in global health as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal.
Meera holds a Master’s in Public Health and Master’s in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from the University of Michigan. She is fluent in French and speaks passable Pulaar.
