Ana Aguilera is a young professional committed to advancing the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people. Ana currently serves as the managing director of programs for Amigos de las Américas, an international youth leadership NGO. Ana specializes in the design, implementation, and evaluation of youth leadership programs.
Ana previously served as a program associate and then as the youth strategist for the Global Youth Program at Ipas where she focused on increasing access to safe abortion care for young women. A recognized Women Deliver Young Leader, Ana has been a featured speaker and panelist at several international conferences and events including the 2016 Women Deliver Conference and the 2016 International Conference on Family Planning.
She holds a Master’s of Public Health in global health from Boston University’s School of Public Health. Ana has experience in more than 28 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and Europe. She speaks Spanish and English.
