Anne brings more than 20 years of experience in international development—specifically HIV & AIDS prevention, care, and treatment; sexual and reproductive health; and maternal, child, and infant health and nutrition. She first joined Pathfinder in 2017 to lead our Gates Foundation-funded Act With Her project. In 2018, she became our Chief Operating Officer.

She has served as executive director for programmes at The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, chief of party for John Snow International, head of partnerships for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, Indonesia country director for Pact, and an HIV & STI technical advisor for USAID. She is also a leader in the important social movement in the US to address adolescent sexual violence.

Anne received a PhD in medical anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance, accounting, and audit from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. Through assignments at USAID, she also completed her post-doctoral qualifications in maternal and child survival from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and in science and diplomacy from the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
