Meet Béatrice Nday wa Mbayo

Béatrice Mbayo has more than 15 years of experience in HIV & AIDS, adolescent and youth reproductive health, chronic diseases, women’s empowerment, advocacy, and income generation. She joined our team in the DRC in 2015.

For two years, she served as programs manager for “Initiatives Pour le Développement Intégral” in Kinshasa, where she mainly contributed to the development and implementation of the education program focused on gender-based violence, reproductive health, and gender. She has also worked as the national project manager for the Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition in Canada and as the HIV & AIDS program development and fundraising advisor for the Maasai Women Development Organization in Tanzania.

Béatrice has her BA from York University and continuing toward her MA at Quebec’s Université Laval. She speaks English, French, Kiluba, Lingala, and Swahili.
