Bec Rollins comes to Pathfinder from the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC), where she was Vice President of Communications and Marketing, building and leading AMC’s communications team in the design and implementation of novel digital marketing and acquisition strategies. Bec envisioned and directed AMC’s identity rebrand and website re-architecture both of which were largely accomplished by the team she assembled.
As Chief Communications Officer at Partners In Health (PIH), Bec orchestrated multiple international emergency response communications campaigns including the Ebola response in West Africa, the cholera epidemic in Haiti, and the flooding disaster in Peru. Over nearly a decade with PIH, Bec traveled extensively to some of the most remote communities in the world, documenting the social justice and global heath efforts of the organization through stories about the individuals and families whose lives overlapped with PIH.
Bec began her career in communications as a photo and video journalist. She hopes to bring the inspiration and excellence of storytelling through rich content to her team and work at Pathfinder.
