Cate Lane brings more than 20 years of experience in adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health to Pathfinder. In this key role, Cate advances Pathfinder’s global youth agenda with a focus on innovation, program quality, partnering with youth, and a deep commitment to sharing best practices and multi-country learning and insights.
Cate’s experience includes positions at Advocates for Youth, the Centre for Development and Population Activities, Futures Group International, and USAID, where she most recently served as the youth advisor for the Office of Population and Reproductive Health/Service Delivery Improvement Division and technical advisor to USAID’s global cross-sectoral youth project, YouthPower. Prior to joining USAID, Cate was Pathfinder’s senior adolescent health advisor from 2005 to 2011.
Cate holds a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology and chemistry from California State University, Chico, and an MPH specializing in health education and population planning from the University of Michigan.
