Over 18 years professional work experience and knowledge in program development and management, technical leadership in PHE, FP, AYSRH, gender and community programming, training and mentorship, program advocacy and communication, program monitoring and supervision. Passionate about girl and boy child, youth, and women empowerment driven programs. For over 15 years of working with Pathfinder Dorah has supported program administration, coordinated programs in HIV, OVC, AYSRH, and organizational development for community-based organizations and PHE work in Uganda and Kenya, spear heading bottom up advocacy to build community led resilient interventions. Dorah has experience working with national and sub national, regional teams integrating FP in health and non-health interventions, and gender integration.
Dorah has a bachelor’s degree in Social Administration majoring in Economics and Social Administration, a master’s in development studies – Local and Regional Development and a post graduate diploma in Gender and Local Economic development. She has short trainings in program communication and media engagement, monitoring and evaluation, SMART advocacy, and budget management.
