Edirin brings more than 12 years of professional work experience in Program Management, Advocacy, Program Monitoring & Evaluation, and Program Operations, She Joined Pathfinder International in December 2015 and she is currently the Global Affairs Advocacy Specialist providing support to Pathfinder’s country/regional level advocacy work, with particular focus on our advocacy mainstreaming within Pathfinder globally and serves as our Global Affairs engagement lead for various coalitions
She has experience working with regional, national, and subnational level teams, advocating for an enabled environment informed by policy change to advance SRHR and has supported the development of country advocacy strategies. She is a global master facilitator of AFP SMART advocacy approach and has conducted several training of trainers (ToTs) in advocacy across Pathfinder countries. She was also trained by UNFPA to develop Family Planning Costed Implementation Plans.
She previously worked for several International Non-governmental organizations including DFID funded Partnership for Transforming Health Systems program (PATHS), USAID funded HIV/AIDs Control Program of Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA), and DFID funded Malaria Consortium Support to National Malaria Program (SuNMaP).
Edirin holds a Master’s degree in Information Management, with Specialization in Knowledge Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. She has a certificate in Project Management, a Certificate in Health Information for Effective Management, and a Certificate in Knowledge Management in Global Health Programs
