Eva Cantrell is a communications professional with over 10 years of experience developing and implementing communications strategies for US and international audiences. Her experiences include branding and marking; social media; communications analytics; website management; and both technical and marketing writing and editing. She joined Pathfinder in 2018.
She began her experience in international development at the Centre for Development and Population Activities (CEDPA), one of the first international NGOs to focus specifically on issues relating to advancement of women rights and reproductive health. At CEDPA, she developed and honed her skills by writing and implementing communications strategies to increase the organization’s outreach and overseeing the production of award-winning publications. Following that, Eva worked at Plan International USA, where she helped increase the recognition of international programs and technical experts through events, content development and publications. Most recently, she worked for Digital Green, an international start up nonprofit that empowers smallholder farmers, increasing visibility for a multi-million-dollar, five-year USAID global learning project as well as advising on restructuring the organization’s global communications efforts.
Eva has her BA from Florida State University. She speaks English and Spanish.
