Lucy Chan has over 25 years of experience working in international development in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. She has expertise in business development, financial management, and budgeting, with global experience managing nonprofit organizational strategic finance as well as and donor project finance, risk, and operations from pre-award to project implementation. She recently joined Pathfinder as the Global Director for Financial Planning and Analysis where she leads the Global Budgeting and Reporting as well as Financial Planning and Analysis Teams.
Before joining Pathfinder, Lucy served as the Senior Director, Finance and Pricing Strategy at MSH, a global health NGO. She has worked for a variety of organizations in the international development arena such as PSI, FHI360, and NDI, with cross-operational experiences that include contract/award management and procurement support, financial management (from cost proposal development through project implementation budgeting, donor reporting and corporate-level financial analysis), risk management and mitigation, project management and general operations. She also led the business development team to secure funding on projects from both public and private sectors. She has a passion for supporting projects in the field and has delivered trainings to field finance and program professionals throughout Africa and Asia.
Lucy is pursuing her MBA concentrating in management at Frostburg State University and has a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park.
