Meet Megan Johnson

Grants, Contracts, and Procurement Coordinator, United States
“Family planning is about more than reproductive health; It is about ensuring women’s rights are recognized as human rights. I love working for Pathfinder because they recognize that women are drivers of social change. When obstacles related to reproductive health are removed, women are able to invest in opportunities to break the cycle of poverty.”

Megan Johnson began her career in Global Health with Pathfinder in June 2019 as our Grants, Contracts and Procurement Coordinator after graduating from Northeastern University in May.

Before joining Pathfinder, Megan worked as a legal aid for four summers at Perkins & Anctil, Attorneys at Law. During her time at Northeastern University, Megan worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts on numerous cases in the Public Corruption Unit and the Civil Rights Unit. For her senior thesis, titled United States Foreign Assistance: The Importance of Foreign Aid to National Security Interests in the Middle East, she researched the link between development assistance programs implemented by different sectors of the United States government, and the successes/failures of these programs pertaining to national security goals, with case studies on Jordan and Iraq.

Megan has a BA in International Affairs and Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston. She speaks English and Spanish.
