Nayan is the Director Partnerships and External Relations and the Advocacy lead for Asia region, Global Affairs. His work includes, leading and providing advocacy support to India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, and Nepal. He comes with two decades of Public Health experience in advocacy, policy research and strategic partnership, with officials from senior Government and international /bilateral agencies. He has an interesting mix of academics and program management experiences. In his previous role, he has successfully conceptualized and led around six grants as Principal Investigator (COP) and has more than 16 international peer-reviewed publications in the domain of Public Health and Policy. In his previous role, he has worked with various reputed national and International organizations, including Poverty Action Lab (J PAL), Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP), IFMR and CARE in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Kyrgyzstan.
Education credentials includes, Master’s in Public Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), University of London, Postgraduate in Rural Management from Xavier’s Institute of Social Services (XISS) and undergrad in Agriculture. He is also recipient of prestigious Welcome Trust Fellowship.
