Reshma Trasi has over 20 years of experience in strategy development, applied research, data use, and leading health and development programs in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. She joined our team in January 2016.
Throughout her career, Reshma has designed and implemented research, performance monitoring, evaluation, and learning approaches for complex HIV and AIDS, health systems strengthening, reproductive health, water and sanitation, and gender programs. She is adept at combining data and community voices to design innovative and responsive products and services, and to inform policy, advocacy, strategic planning, course correction, and decision-making. She was Pathfinder’s MEL Director for 3 years. Before coming to Pathfinder, she worked at Management Sciences for Health, International Center for Research on Women, and Yale University.
She is a physician with an MBBS from K.J. Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai, an MHA from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, and an MPH from Yale University School of Public Health. She speaks English, Hindi, Konkani, and Marathi.
