Sarah is a writer, photographer, and passionate world traveler. Her past jobs have included working as a writer for Oxfam America, as Communications Manager for the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and as a photographer for Journalists for Human Rights.
An avid explorer, Sarah has taken the Trans-Siberian, Mongolian, and Manchurian trains from St. Petersburg to Beijing, hiked the Inca Trail in Peru and Tiger Leaping Gorge in China, and traveled overland from Egypt to Zambia. If she could meet anyone, past or present, it would by Ryszard Kapuściński.
Sarah sits on the Human Rights Commission of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and has managed her own photography gallery in Rockport, MA. She has a BA from Macalester College and an MA in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
She is proud to be a Pathfinder.
