Shaylyn Stanley currently serves as Pathfinder International’s Next Generation Engagement Officer where she develops new initiatives to expand the organization’s ability to meaningfully engage with Gen Z and Millennials as well as raise the organization’s presence in the Next Gen philanthropy and advocacy spaces. In this role, she also serves as the Director of Pathfinder’s Acacia Circle, a dynamic community of passionate Next Gen advocates for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and ambassadors for Pathfinder.
Shaylyn has also worked to support NGO partnerships and program delivery. Prior to Pathfinder, Shaylyn worked at Plan International to build corporate and foundation partnership that advance the organization’s mission. Before Plan, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia where she managed and designed PEPFAR-funded programming to decrease rates of HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancy among the youth in her community.
Shaylyn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from UCLA and is currently working towards her MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
