
Country Director
Dr. Rasheed is a public health specialist with a strong background in delivering Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition services in Pakistan. She has over 20 years of experience, including her work with national governments, USAID and DFID/UKAid, national and international non-government organizations, the UN, and civil society. Before joining Pathfinder, Dr. Rasheed led the Fleming Fund in Pakistan, overseeing and managing the Fleming Fund team members, including the consortium partners.
Dr. Rasheed has led the design of several programs for health systems strengthening, integrated reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition interventions in a multi-stakeholder environment with a strong focus on public sector responsiveness and services to poor and vulnerable populations, particularly in rural areas. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master’s in Public Health.
As the Country Director in Pakistan, she will be based in Karachi, overseeing Pathfinder International’s operations and management in Pakistan. She will continue to work in close collaboration with national and provincial governments and partners and Pathfinder’s global teams.
