Jerry Haruna is a development professional with extensive experience in designing fundraising and engagement strategies. As Director of Country-Led Proposals and Partnerships, Jerry charges Pathfinder’s efforts to develop proposals for our country-led strategy and programs. In his role, he facilitates global engagement and promotes in-country voices in organizational resource generation.

Prior to Pathfinder, Jerry worked in various capacities at Yale Law School – Development Operations, Foundations Relations and Stewardship – where he implemented vital strategies for engaging new and existing donors, facilitated proposal development for various Center’s and Programs, and established effective stewardship strategies.

Before joining Yale Law School, Jerry was Program Director at Giving Hope Inc., where he designed and implemented the organization’s Street to School mission in Ghana. Jeremiah was Executive Director, Governance and Human Rights at Initiative 9, where he led efforts to advance human rights advocacy and protection in Nigeria.

Jerry Haruna holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Kogi State University, Nigeria, and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Liverpool, UK. He has attended various international development courses, including Building State Capability at Harvard University’s Center for International Development.
