Acting Finance Director/Senior Manager, Global Budgeting & Reporting

Nersa Looky Djobo is a trusted financial expert with vast experience in complex financial modeling, the development of cost proposals and a history of advocating for compliance in organizational accounting. He is known by his colleagues for his objectivity, dedication to excellence, integrity, innovation, and financial stewardship. 

Nersa leads the Global Budgeting & Reporting team at Pathfinder, working closely with the Business Development team on cost proposals. He also leads the organization’s fiduciary agency model, with the responsibility for businesses in Burkina Faso and Senegal. He oversees the financial and management accounting, budgetary and cash management of international operations for the Africa and Asia/MENA regions. Furthermore, he participates in driving strategy for process improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization, including the development and update of organizational policies and procedures, and training materials.  

Before joining Pathfinder in February 2020, Nersa served as Deputy Chief of Party for the World Resources Institute, where he was instrumental in administering a $12.5 million USAID award. He oversaw and managed all financial, accounting, budgeting, human resources, and administrative aspects of the project. 

Nersa holds a master’s degree in accounting and financial management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and bachelor’s degrees in economics and mathematics/statistics from the University of the District of Columbia. He speaks fluently French and English.
