Mark Hodges

IT Director

Mark Hodges leads information technology strategy and operations for Pathfinder International, ensuring that staff, country teams, and partners have secure, reliable, and effective technology to advance Pathfinder’s mission. As IT Director, he oversees global IT services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, end-user support, and technology governance across the organization.

With deep experience in Microsoft 365 administration, cloud platforms, endpoint management, data protection, and digital transformation, Mark focuses on building practical, mission-aligned technology solutions that help Pathfinders collaborate globally and work more efficiently. He has led initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity and compliance, modernize collaboration and device management, improve IT service delivery, and expand the responsible use of data and artificial intelligence across the organization.

Mark is also a strong advocate for Pathfinder’s country-led approach to operations. He has helped advance a global IT support model that empowers country-based IT staff, strengthens local capacity, and provides more responsive support across time zones and operating contexts. His work emphasizes operational excellence, strong stewardship of technology resources, and secure systems that enable Pathfinder teams to focus on impact.

Mark has been with Pathfinder for 10+ years and is based in Concord, Massachusetts. Before joining Pathfinder, he worked at WGBH, a nonprofit public media organization in Boston, and at Harvard Law School. He holds a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
