Deepak Krishnamurthy is the Founder & Managing Partner at Gaia Ventures, an early-stage venture fund investing in next-gen AI startups around an emerging category of enterprise Workflows without WorkTM.

Prior to founding Gaia Ventures, Deepak was the EVP & Chief Strategy Officer at SAP, where he led the company’s growth strategy and transformation that resulted in a 3X increase in top line, a 4X increase in market cap, and over $100 billion in shareholder value creation. He also launched SAP’s early-stage venture fund that has delivered top-decile returns.

Prior to SAP, Deepak was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in the Digital McKinsey practice and he started his career at Cognizant in 1999 where he held multiple leadership roles, including leading business development in North America for its Business Analytics practice. Deepak was an independent director on the board of Paradox.ai, a conversational AI driven recruiting platform that was acquired by Workday.

Deepak is a former board member of the World Economic Forum’s Digital Europe Initiative. He is a recent David Rockefeller fellow at Partnership For New York City, a non-profit that promotes social and economic growth in New York and is an alumni investor fellow at the Edmund Hilary Fellowship.
