Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
Mandeep Singh is a dynamic financial and operational executive leader with over 30 years of experience spanning the for-profit and large nonprofit sectors, including Fortune 100 companies and major startups.
Mandeep’s achievements are rooted in a history of building highly strategic, collaborative, and nimble domestic and international operations. He’s led complex change management initiatives, enterprise strategic planning, and organizational transformations. His successes are underpinned by building impeccable integrity in operations, strong financial acumen and discipline, entrepreneurial approaches, strategic mindset, continuous improvement through technology, data driven yet empathetic decision making, and a focus on strong sustainable results.
Before joining Pathfinder International, Mandeep served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Charity Water. There, he was instrumental in developing strategic, collaborative and data driven approaches to scaling operations and revenue growth while ensuring robust and sustainable fiscal health and transparency. He also spearheaded the transformation of market investment strategies to better support the organization’s growth and long-term vision of solving the world’s water crisis at a faster pace.
Prior to Charity Water, Mandeep served as the Chief Financial Officer at the National Park Foundation, a 501(c)(3) chartered by Congress, for nearly 8 years. There he led Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Administration and was instrumental in strategically driving the organization’s dramatic growth in revenue and mission impact (of more than 400%) while scaling operations to support it.
His previous experience includes for-profit executive and leadership roles at National Geographic where he developed and led a corporate finance department for a $1 billion multi-national joint venture (JV between Nat Geo and large media companies) with more than 15 business units, managing all aspects of reporting, operations, and strategic planning. Earlier career experiences include time in the wireless telecom industry where he helped launch a major wireless startup in over 20 U.S. markets before its public trading and acquisition by another major carrier.
Mandeep holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a CPA certified by the University of Illinois. He’s continued his learning journey by pursuing certificates in Executive, Technology, and AI Strategic Leadership from the SC Johnson School of Business at Cornell University.
