Josh Kohnstamm is a natural products marketing executive and a former editor, political operative, and government communications director. He is founder of Kohnstamm Communications, an agency recognized for its success elevating natural and organic brands to national acclaim. His firm was acquired in 2019 by Broadhead Companies, one of the nation’s largest business-to-business food marketing agencies. His agency drove marketing for over 100 iconic “better for you” consumer brands often focused on social impact practices, such as Honest Tea, Happy Baby and Noosa Yoghurt – all since acquired in part due to his group’s good work. Josh is an advisor to Silverwood Partners, a Boston-based investment banking firm that provides M&A advisory services for the food, health and technology sectors.
A New York native, Josh is a graduate of Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. He and his wife Ricka own a 66-acre hobby farm in southern Minnesota, which is home to 19 rescued wild mustangs, and in normal times travel extensively in Africa and Asia.
