Reaching the Last Mile
Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for ALL Women & Girls
Date: Tuesday, March 12, 2024 | Time: 12:30PM EDT
Where: Armenian Cultural Center, Y Room, 630 2nd Ave (at 35th St), New York, NY

As member states convene for the 68th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68) to advance progress toward gender equality, we must recognize that access to gender-responsive sexual and reproductive health care for women and girls is vital for paving the way toward universal health coverage. Given that women and girls in marginalized populations face increased barriers to care, including financial hardship, their inclusion is pivotal for achieving UHC.
Join the Alliance for Gender Equality and UHC at this in-person parallel session at CSW68 as we explore pathways to accountability and tailored strategies for ensuring that women and girls at the last mile—sex workers, women with disabilities, adolescent girls, older women, LGBTQI+ women—are not left behind in efforts to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights and empowerment for women and girls.
Our Lydia Murithi, Senior Global Technical and Strategy Advisor, will speak on the panel.
This parallel session at CSW68 is in-person only and hosted in English.
