Director of Programs
Patrick Kinemo is the Director of Programs in Tanzania since April 2020. He is also the Chief of Party for the Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project in Tanzania.
Prior to joining Pathfinder, he was the Director of Programs at Sikika, a local NGO working on governance programs in the health sector. Patrick has management training from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Pharmacy from Kings College University of London. He worked as a community pharmacist from 2002 to 2010 in the UK. He was involved in pioneering some innovative community pharmaceutical services such as the out of hours services designed to improve access to medicines, including the emergency contraceptive pill. He was also involved in a harm’s reduction program (needle exchange and methadone clinics) for injecting drug users where he was responsible for managing and monitoring compliance amongst the service users in the community.
Patrick is a former Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, UK, and currently a member of the Tanzania Pharmaceutical Society.
