Launching the Uganda Climate Change Health National Adaptation Plan

Date & Time: August 22, 2024 at 7:30am – 1:00pm EAT

The government of Uganda in line with global commitments is steering adaptation and mitigation efforts to tackle climate change and its effects as stipulated by United nations framework convention on climate change (UNFCCC). Some provision of these frameworks requires the development and implementation of a Health National Adaptation Plan (H-NAP) to build resilient health systems and reduce the impacts of climate change on health.

Pathfinder is proud to partner with the Uganda Ministry of Health (MoH) for the launch of the Climate Change Health National Adaptation Plan. The event is envisioned as an opportunity for climate and health partners to discuss and mobilize resources to facilitate nationwide implementation of the H-NAP.
