Lois Quam, CEO of Pathfinder, will participate in the following panel discussion!

Date & Time: Tuesday, April 23 at 09:00 – 10:00 CEST

Energy transitions have the potential to completely transform structural, gender and intergenerational inequalities. Involving women, workers, youth, indigenous and vulnerable communities as peers in the global energy transition process is one of the most powerful levers we can pull as we redesign energy systems for billions of better lives on a healthy planet. If we are serious about the rhetoric of ‘leave no one behind,’ we need a different conversation with more people and communities about the opportunities for deeper societal transformation. This session will explore new approaches, radical collaborations and bold experiments that are enabling greater inclusion.

  • Eithne Treanor, Executive Chair, World Energy Council and Founder, E.TreanorMedia
  • Lois Quam, CEO, Pathfinder
  • Dyonne Rietveld, Country Chair, Uniper Benelux
  • Minako Fujiie, Executive Officer, JERA
  • Ana Gomes, Future Energy Leader and Co-founder of Mulheres na Energia

Date & Time: Tuesday, April 23 at 16:00 – 17:30 CEST

We all need to better understand our role and choices in making energy transitions happen. The best way to succeed is a series of smaller steps – hundreds and thousands of them, across all levels of societies and reflecting different situations and starting points. Agents of change explores the transformative impact of empowering women as changemakers in communities around the world today. Hear firsthand from women in leadership who are driving on-the-ground impact and fostering community resilience to effect positive change for individuals, their families, their communities, and ultimately, to contribute to a cleaner and more equitable future for all.

  • Lois Quam, CEO, Pathfinder
  • Monique Ntumngia, CEO and Chair, Green Girls Organisation
  • Rodrigo Paris Rojas, International CEO, Barefoot College International
