July 30, 2026—Pathfinder International has officially joined the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, committing technical expertise, implementation experience, and evidence to help countries scale integrated, locally led solutions to hunger and poverty.
Joining the Alliance’s Knowledge Support pillar, Pathfinder will collaborate with governments, multilateral organizations, civil society, philanthropic organizations, development partners, and the private sector to accelerate country-led solutions to ending hunger and poverty. Established during Brazil’s G20 Presidency, the Alliance helps countries implement and scale evidence-based policies and programs that advance Sustainable Development Goals 1 (No Poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Hunger and poverty remain closely linked to poor health, gender inequality, climate vulnerability, and limited economic opportunity. Through this partnership, Pathfinder will draw on nearly 70 years of health-systems experience to help governments scale multi-sectoral programs that address these underlying drivers.
Across 16 countries in Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, Pathfinder supports locally led programs integrating health, economic empowerment, climate resilience, and gender equality. As part of its Alliance commitment, Pathfinder will share practical country evidence to foster peer learning, South-South cooperation, and collaboration across sectors.
