An Introduction to Pathfinder International’s Language Guidance
A growing number of Pathfinder’s peer organizations are publicly sharing their principles of language use. Following their lead, this introduction outlines the values that guide Pathfinder’s word choices and language conventions.
While our style guide shares our language values and preferences at the global level, we recognize the need for flexibility in meeting the communication needs of our country and project teams working in diverse contexts around the world. Pathfinder’s language standards should be adapted to fit the needs of the audience and the context in which we are communicating.
