Overview
Working alongside Niger’s Ministry of Health and local stakeholders, Pathfinder International will implement Iyali Masu Wadata to strengthen access to integrated postpartum family planning (PPFP); maternal and newborn health; and reproductive, maternal, newborn, infant health, and nutrition (RMNIH-Nut) services across 16 health districts in Zinder, Maradi, and Tahoua.
The project will serve communities representing approximately 31% of Niger’s population, including more than 1.8 million women of reproductive age, helping expand access to voluntary family planning services and contributing to healthier outcomes for women, newborns, and families.
This initiative builds on more than a decade of collaboration between Pathfinder, Niger’s Ministry of Health, and the foundation to strengthen health systems and expand access to quality reproductive health services.
